Things have changed
you've heard folks say
now that your mother
has gone away,
but the whole truth
of the story my friends,
...her role as your mother
never really ends.
Instead of making you
your favorite pie
she's making love blossom
from her home on high.
She's always as close
as a whispered prayer
and her memory lingers
most everywhere,
you've only to hold her
within the love in your heart
and I asure you
she will never depart.
For God has blessed her
with heavenly unity
where love overflows
for all eternity.
